I grew up with fiesta ware, but I'd have to either have a ton of colors or colors for each holiday. I'm not sure I could use pastel pink dishes for Christmas dinner!SkipTheBaghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02426786864856395559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882959808811184859.post-75731264232447753722017-05-17T12:37:15.126-05:002017-05-17T12:37:15.126-05:00Interesting. I have very little cabinet space, so having dishes in a variety of shapes/sizes would drive me crazy. But we love a variety of colors! We chose Corelle dishes because they are thin but don't break easily, they are made in USA, the price is reasonable, and used ones often turn up in estate sales. We have a wide variety of colored borders, but I guess they are all on white backgrounds.Becca @ The Earthling's Handbookhttp://articles.earthlingshandbook.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882959808811184859.post-11778450693220358432017-05-16T06:28:48.832-05:002017-05-16T06:28:48.832-05:00I didn't think of that! They stopped using them because the colour faded in the dishwasher (and replaced them by white dishes). It doesn't bother me at the moment, but it might at some point. It makes a lot of sense and color can be added to the table in the form of flowers, napkins or other decorations befitting the occasion.<br />Enjoy your week!daisy ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06129079277073067462noreply@blogger.com
